There are loads of water detection systems out there but nobody seems to be talking about how to integrate them into the fabric of a building. In this video I shun them all, make my own, and install permanently into the ceiling void, with the possibility of maintaining the sensor later (eg if it fails). All with Arduinos, MQTT, and cheap sensors of course.
