Capable of carrying a 2 tonne payload through 1 metre of water, it is a two wheel drive vehicle that thinks it's a four wheel drive! The range is about 1,000+ kilometres, and the payload structure is extremely flexible to cater for the transport of livestock to market one minute and to use as a bus, or, ambulance the next!
The OX is both British designed and manufactured. All parts are readily available keeping running costs down to the minimum, ideal requirements in the Developing World.
An added advantage to disaster regions is it's ability to be flatpack transported with assembly on site, this means that up to 6 can be transported in a container at any one time. Assembly at the destination can be achieved with unskilled labour, going from flatpack to work horse within 12 hours!
