Sunset Beach, Koh Rong Sanloem is a tranquil slice of paradise tucked away on the island’s western shore. True to its name, it offers some of the most breathtaking sunsets in Cambodia, with golden skies melting into turquoise waters. The beach is relatively small—just a 10-minute walk end to end—but it’s lined with rustic bungalows, swaying palms, and soft sand perfect for barefoot strolls. The water is calm and clear, ideal for swimming and snorkeling, and the vibe is laid-back, with a few cozy cafés and eco-friendly accommodations like Robinson Bungalows and Sleeping Sunset.
🚤 How to Get There:
Step 1: Ferry to Saracen Bay From Sihanoukville, take a speed ferry (e.g., Buva Sea or GTVC) to Saracen Bay, the main port on Koh Rong Sanloem. Tickets usually cost around $25 for an open return.
Step 2: Jungle Walk to Sunset Beach There are no direct boats to Sunset Beach, so once you arrive at Saracen Bay, you’ll need to hike across the island. The trail takes about 30–45 minutes through lush jungle—bring good shoes and water!
