In this video, I share my experimental DIY soil mix and self-watering system for propagating plants. I propagate Hoya and Begonia Snow Capped using a rectangular self-watering container with wick ropes and pre-made pots.
This DIY setup works as a water reservoir that allows multiple plants to self-water over a longer period of time, helping reduce frequent watering and saving time. I also show how I stabilize cuttings, why I switched from clear to opaque containers to prevent algae, and how everything looks inside my growing tent.
