Part 1 of the 1995 Subaru WRX GC8 paint job. In this video, i come up with a how to remove old damaged car wrap that has cracked in the sun, and wont peel off.
Believe me when i say, i tried everything before using this method, it was a LAST RESORT. Please dont overheat your clear coat to get your wrap off and seek a professional.
Where i went wrong:
1: wrapping over damaged/bad paint.
2: using a cheap off-brand vinyl wrap.
3: wrapping over spray paint and primer.
4: leaving my car in the sun and weather for 2 years.
Did it protect the car for that time? Yeah! It actually did! - would i wrap again, 100%, with better conditions, i would!
