3 Vintage Black Diamond Pearl Ludwig kits walk into a drum store...sounds like the beginning of a bad drum joke right? Wouldn't you know it, within the last couple months, we've had 3 different vintage Ludwig Black Diamond Pearl kits just wander into the store.
(It's like they set up a meeting or something.)
Columbus Percussion owner, Jim Rupp, walks us through some of the details and interesting tidbits about all of these kits. One kit seems to be early 1970s, another is a fairly rare Ludwig Holiday kit from the 1960s with matching wood snare drum, the other is also from the 1960s but has a custom made to match modern 13" tom added to the kit.
