Maharashtra: Anurag Thakur slams Congress for ‘Tea Seller’ remark, corruption

Information and Broadcasting Minister of India Anurag Thakur on June 18 held a public meeting in Maharashtra’s Palghar on the completion of 9 years of the Modi Government. During his speech, he targeted the Congress party over their statements
“In 2014, Congress said that PM Modi used to sell tea, he is from a poor family and he won't be able to run the country. People rejected the Congress that used to sell our country and made the tea seller, Prime Minister of the country. There were a number of corruptions during their ten years of government. Within these 9 years of Modi government not a single rupee corruption was done,” said Anurag Thakur.
