I finally got to working on my Type B back in April. I finished painting it over the last couple weeks and got it put back together for today's test. I did what I could to straighten out the housing/projectors on it. The thing had apparently fallen off the roof it was mounted on at some point, so it was in pretty rough shape.
I bought this one on eBay 5 years ago for $50. It was originally installed on a garage next to the fire station in Northville, South Dakota.
Anyway, I got it back together and running. I used the sound level meter from the shop at 100 feet away and it peaked at 108dB(C).
