Chianti by UTMB 120k – When the Mind is Set, the Body Will Follow

I toed the start line alongside Jim, Kilian, and Vincent. Running with the last three UTMB winners was for sure one of the highlights of the race. From there most things went downhill. But in the darkest moments, I reminded myself of the advice I was given: when the mind is set, the body will follow. It was not pretty, the pain cave was deep but who said running ultras is easy 😀
