Fallout 4 - The Slog Settlement Build Tour

This is a settlement build tour at The Slog from my most recent lightly modded Fallout 4 playthrough, using only vanilla and DLC objects (with a little help from Place Everywhere).

This is a Minuteman protected farming and trading settlement, and hopefully lives up to Wisemans dream of The Slog being a place everyone looks forward to visiting. The main building has been converted into a small hotel with rooms to rent, and features a lounge area, weapons shop and a roof top bar.

The south side of the settlement has been setup as a residential area, with the northern side featuring a crop field, green house and some small workshops and storage sheds. The pool is still used to farm Tarberries but now also features two water pumps, with a large workshop, guard tower and windmill setup on the western edge of the settlement.

Found this settlement very tricky to settle on a design I was happy with (lots of building and then tearing stuff down again!), and really struggled trying to work around those annoying little vents on the pool buildings roof. Some parts are also not a decorated as I would normally like but needed to stop as I was starting to get some nasty FPS drops in certain spots.

Overall though I am really happy with how this turned out, and feel it’s been worth the effort and frustration… Looking forward though to never building here again 🤣
