The GEN-Y BOSS Torsion Flex trailer hitch will not only haul the load, but it will also increase the performance of your truck or SUV. No, it's not going to add horsepower or torque, but the active torsion-flex action eliminates up to 90% of the feedback from the trailer to the vehicle. This negative energy absorption allows your pulling rig to keep the power to the ground without excessive action on the suspension, frame, and braking system.
We pulled a mid-size SUV on a trailer with a larger SUV and we definitely tell the difference. Even moreso, using a GMC Duramax diesel truck, we pulled a 30-foot trailer hauling a skid steer with a pintle hook. This was a more noticeable difference. The GEN-Y Boss hitch we used was the 10,000-lb version, but the BOSS series goes all the way up to 32,000 lbs.
