Moone, Co. Kildare, is home to one of Ireland’s High Crosses, carved out of granite in the 10th century. Like many High Crosses, it’s covered in representations of biblical scenes. They’re not randomly chosen; they are stories of redemption, adorning and interpreting the great Christian symbol of redemption, the Cross of Christ.
We are grateful to the Office of Public Works for granting permission to film at this National Monument.
