Reflections of violent shadows follow me for life.
Never gave into foolishness but suddenly you’re wrong.
What you want, I can’t offer; even now, on this throne.
Set a course for a new life where each day’s another disaster.
Now we’re forced to reveal it for ourselves.

It’s not hard to get lost on a path so unfamiliar (a path that’s always been).
Save a life at what cost? Now we’re on a track we’ve all forgotten.

We’re counting down.
The further we descend now, we tangle the web.
Compounding our torn existence.
Sick and twisted, drowning in darkened thoughts of a life we’re all born to squander.
Slow now, the hate sets on like a father scorns desponded sons.

If there is any way out, we’ll find it.
