Marnix's Electric Assist DFxl Velomobile riding up hills, steep grade at Whites Bay, Blenheim, NZ

I wanted to try to ride a hill with a steep grade in my DFxl Velomobile, testing out the Electric Assist Motor (e-assist). I took the Velomobile up to Whites Bay; a popular beach area in Blenheim NZ. The GPS on my camera was finding it hard to get accurate speed, but the commentary I make and the Gradient is reasonably accurate. I have tried to include commenting the speed in miles per hour (mph) for all the USA viewers and those who prefer to hear speed in imperial units.
I found the ride easy and fun. I saw another cyclist who was touring in the South Island, he had just biked the hills I came over and he was very tired after that. He was lugging tent and camping type stuff.
I discuss my gear changes and the possibility of getting a 52t chain ring if I intend on riding hills like this more often.
