ASUS PRIME AP202 mATX Gaming PC Build 2025 | Ryzen 7 9800X3D | RTX 5080

In this video, we're building a powerful gaming PC, designed for smooth performance in 1440p and 4K gaming. At the heart of the build is the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, based on Zen 5 architecture with 3D V-Cache, delivering exceptional FPS in modern AAA titles and great efficiency for multitasking.

The system runs on the ASUS TUF GAMING B850M-E motherboard, offering reliable power delivery, support for PCIe 5.0, DDR5 memory, and modern connectivity. For cooling, we’ve installed the Thermalright Elite Vision 360, a triple-fan AIO with ARGB lighting that easily handles the Ryzen 7 9800X3D under load.

Graphics are powered by the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5080 OC Edition 16GB GDDR7, capable of max settings in 4K with DLSS 4 and ray tracing support.

All of this is housed in the brand-new ASUS PRIME AP202 case — a compact yet stylish chassis that takes airflow and cable management to the next level. We were impressed with the previous PRIME AP201, but this updated version feels even more refined, with excellent thermals, sleek aesthetics, and a very builder-friendly design.

For storage, we're using the Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB NVMe SSD, and for memory, Silicon Power DDR5 64GB (2x32GB) Zenith 6000MT/s CL30, ensuring top-tier speed and stability. Power comes from the ASUS TUF Gaming 1000W Gold PSU, fully ATX 3.0 compliant and ready for the latest GPUs.

The result is a balanced and future-proof gaming PC about 3000$, built to handle any workload and deliver smooth gameplay at 1440p and 4K.
