A few weeks back I posted a photo on FB https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... It was of a cruncher pattern its a fly pattern I have had little success with whilst fly fishing. I asked folks what there bogey flies were and was very surprised to see how many people said a cruncher. The cruncher style flies are amongst my go to fly patterns when the fish are on the nymphs. I have many variations but this one is easy to tie and super effective for both Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout.
Why not tie it up and really give it a try I think you will be surprised!
