This is it... I must have had a serious lapse in judgement but I just could not resist and we are doing a bucket list build of the Badan Aircraft superlight Carbon Cub!
(UPDATE: Its labelled a 55%, but actually measures 45%)
This thing is a beast. Wingspan is 185inches (4.7meter). Flying weight expected around 40-45lb. He designed it for 120-200cc and we are going to power with a DA-150L on canisters. All Futaba electronics.
I know 45lb sounds heavy, but this really is "superlight" for its size. The calculated wing loading projects to about 24oz/ft2 for a cube loading of about 4.5. That will float like a kite.
