Played on presumably exactly the same bass as Marcus Miller used on this recording (not sure if his signature Jazz Bass with the active electronics was already out ?)
First and single take, mistakes and errors allowed and uncorrected.
Fender Jazz Bass '78-79, medium-fresh roundwounds (brand unknown).
Recorded direct-in, no amp/effects/EQ.
