Written for Trinity Maldonado at the SCI 24 Hour Concert Series.
"Dialogues on Self Sabotage" was written regarding the negative self talk involved with impostor syndrome and anxiety. You can hear romantic lines interrupted by self shushing, and "spitting" consonants that represent the disgusting disregard from which we sometimes treat ourselves. Imagery that highlights the fallacy of treating others with kindness but still subjecting ourselves to severe mistreatment.
