At 900 feet above sea level, thin soil poses some challenge. Jake explains how they are working to build up organic matter in the soil to successfully grow OSR, wheat and hand-picked peas.
Overbury Farm surrounds the picturesque villages of Overbury and Conderton and are very keen to keep traditional values central to their management systems, used in combination with modern technology. There is an emphasis on conservation and sharing with future generations what farming is about - in late 2012 they became a LEAF Demonstration Farm.
