opening the album, just like the dawn, the fragile spark of an improvisation, the aura begins to take shape in the distance, the aurora of a journey yet to unfold. it is the light before the light, the prelude to an encounter, the universal before the particular. two strangers meet, musically, without truly knowing one another, conversing only through each other’s radiance. the harp sketches a veiled mask, dissolving as the piano emerges. its notes repeated, delayed, decayed, like a distant echo. gradually, gently, the disguise fades. a melody takes root. harp and piano engage in a delicate dance of question and response, circling one another until, at last, they merge. seeing each other as they are—steady, serene—they brush against time, which both stretches and solidifies. a transfigured tempo, renewed, ready to embrace the adventure ahead.
