“One More Day” features REIKO (Cadsawan Reiko), who dazzled everyone with his rate of growth and amazing singing in the audition “THE FIRST” sponsored by SKI-HI even though he had no previous experience.
The memorable phrase “One More Day” that REIKO said at the presentation for the results of the “Creative Evaluation”, where all participants of the audition wrote lyrics, composed a song, and produced the choreography by themselves in “THE FIRST” audition, was sampled by one of the basic track producers, Matt Cab, to produce a new track, in fusion with rap by SKI-HI and REIKO’s singing voice.
Contrary to the time at the audition, REIKO supports SKY-HI, who sings honestly about loneliness and battles fought through in his past and pain, leaving a strong impression again that “THE FIRST” was not just about surviving the audition, but a place where comrades gathered to nurture their ties and love. Towards the end of the song, SKY-HI’s words become stronger and you can feel him show his determination to reach and grab a new light together with his companions. This song can be considered a culmination of SKY-HI’s path so far together with his recent activities.
