When we think of "The Word of God" we usually think of the Bible. All words that come directly from God (just as they did in the beginning of The Bible) are true and living. When God dictates a thing to be written or spoken, we must say "Amen"... it is so. Allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal to you truths in these Words is also necessary in understanding. Returning to God's Words with Holy Spirit can #reveal what's on the heart of God concerning you.
John 14:16-17 NIV
"And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you."
Hebrews 4:12 NIV
"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."
