This guide is based around 20 ways how you make a good gold income in Wow Classic as low as lvl 40 and under. With these 20 gold farm methods you can easily afford your first mount and by 60 will have your epic mount.

0:40 ~ #1. Fishing – Get big iron fishing pole +20 & Bright Babuble +75 boost. lvl 20+ with a base fishing of 180 and the items for a boost. Go to Tanaris to fish Stonescale Eel or Feralas for Nightfin Snapper. Both fish have the best catch rates between 12 at night to 6am.

1:50 ~ #2. Herbalism - This can be started above lvl 20 once you make your way to the Barrens. Find all the Briathorn and mageroyal you can. They have a chance to have Swift thistle inside it. These are used to make rogue tea that sell for 1g+.

2:55 ~ #3. Mining – This is also started above lvl 20 in the barrens. Here you are searching for silver and gold ore. An alternative area for silver is thousand needles and gold can also be found easily in Arthi Highlands / Stranglethorn vale.

3:35 ~ #4. Alchemy - To make the most out of alchemy you want to find low crafting cost potions that sell frequenly on your server. I think elixir of greater agility, elixir of giants and free action potions to be some of the best to make. They all cost under 1g to make and net 20-40s profit each one.

4:39 ~ #5. Engineering – There are many gadgets to make with engineering that can make you great profit. I found farming / buying the mats to make goblin sapper charges are highly profitable.

5:25 ~ #6. Large Venom Sac - These will be used a lot in AQ for elixir of nature resistance. Best spot to farm them is off Scorpid Reavers in thousand needles/shimmering flats. They are lvl 31 and have a 13% drop rate.

6:01 ~ #7. Small Flame Sac – Used in making regular fire protection potions. Currently sell for 80s+ and are best farmed off Dreaming Welp in swamp of sorrows. They are only lvl 36 and have a 25% drop rate.

6:19 ~ #8. Elemental Fire – Used in making great fire protection potions. Currently sell for 3g+ and are best farmed in Arathi Highlands off Burning Exile. Only lvl 39 and have a 12% drop rate.

7:55 ~ #9. Elemental Earth – Used to make Greater Nature Protection Potions. These will spike up in price during phase 5 and already are selling for 3.5g+. Best farmed in badlands off Lesser Elementals lvl 39 and have a 9% drop rate.

9:48 ~ #10. Golden Pearl – These are used in several high lvl enchants. I recommend being lvl 40 or have a friend and split the loot. They are found inside big mouth clams at a .5% chance. These clams are dropped at a rate of 44% off Hatecrest screamers in Feralas lvl 41.

11:50 ~ #11. Elemental Waters- Used in crafting the Greater Frost Protection Potions. Stranglethorn there is an island that has Lesser Water Elementals lvl 37 that have a 11% drop chance.

13:01 ~ #12. Cold Eye Basilisks – These and other basilisks drop a ton of greens and greys that vendor for a ton. They are lvl 38-40 and found in Stranglethorn Vale.

13:59 ~ #13. Violate Rum – Used in crafting Rocket Fuel that is used in the AQ gate war efforts. This is another one that I recommend to be near lvl 40 or have a friend to duo them with. They are farmed in Stranglethorn Vale off pirates on the coast outside booty bay. They are lvl 40-43 and have a 9% drop chance along with drop tons of greens / cloth.

15:24 ~ #14. Light Feathers - These are used mainly by mages who are doing ZG croc pulls. Bloodfury ambushers in Stonetalon Mountains and there are other types of bloodfury that have 41% drop chance and only lvl 24-27.

17:04 ~ #15. Large Fang – These are used for making rage potions for warriors & druids. Hillsbrad Foothills Mountain yeti’s that have a 10% drop chance and only lvl 33.

18:48 ~ #16. Flipping Gold – I know this isn’t quite a secret by very few people actually do this. You can start with as little gold as 10-20g. The best items to target on those that have used in upcoming phases or consumables that are used up frequently.
