Hello friends! Easter and bunnies have this weird connection, so let's spin some angora bunny fiber, eventhough Easter now has been weeks ago. I bought this french angora fiber at les pagas du ventoux, a small fiber animals farm in the Vaucluse region in France. In this video I'll card the angora and mix is with some suffolk sheep wool, I'll spin this fiber blend on my Louët S71 spinningwheel in a long draw technique and will then thwack the yarn so it blooms nicely. The fiber was a little bit matted, so I got a very structural art yarn out of it. I'm planning to in the end to knit some headwear with it, a hat or a beret maybe?
