New Ford OTA Update Improves F-150 Lightning DC Fast Charging Times

Ford has begun pushing out an OTA software update that allows 2022 and 2023 F-150 Lightning to charge at 500 amps which is an improvement over the previous peak current draw of 450 amps. In this video, I charge my 2022 F-150 Lightning from 10% to 80% on a 350 kW DC fast charger and analyze how much faster the truck now charges compared to the old software.
