December 9, 1992 - The furthest back Basketball Reference's dunk tracker goes it the 1996-97 season. Beyond that, you'd need to dig up Harvey Pollack's old scorebooks from the early '90s, which is currently a bit tough to track down at the moment. So there's at least this: During the 1996-97 season, 6-foot-8 Dennis Scott played 2,166 minutes and dunked a grand total of... four times (that's one dunk for every 541 minutes of playing time).
And so, while Scott was younger and a bit more spry in 1992, he wasn't exactly Shawn Kemp out there. The dunk featured above accounted for two of his 38 points in a game in which he connected on his first eight shots. Alas, he was outgunned by Joe Dumars, who finished with 39 points in a 108-103 Pistons win.
