St Lucian Christmas Gathering 2025 with Christmas music from Five Choirs over the years 1992 to 2025

On Saturday 6 December, 2025, at a private home in Cap Estate, St Lucia, there is a very special gathering of around 50 singers, spanning five distinct generations [ages from 16 to 93 yrs], and representing five different St Lucian choirs: Bel Canto, St Lucia National Youth Choir, JUSTUS, the Evergreen Singers and the National Combined Schools Choir. They mix and mingle, eat, drink, & reminisce about old - and not so old - times and whilst doing so, several prominent members of the 5 groups talk briefly about what the music of Christmas means to them. They then get together as an all-age group of Community Carol Singers and sing some Christmas carols. The music that they sing leads into an extended choral concert programme in four parts: The Angels, The Manger, The Message, and The Christmas Season. The concert music for these four parts has been curated from archive recordings going back to the year 1992 which are available on YouTube in the Belargo Choral Archive Playlist.
