Anja Nissen is a Danish-Australian singer who rose to fame after winning The Voice Australia in 2014 and later representing Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv. Known for her powerful vocals and emotional performances, Anja brings a unique energy to this Pride stage moment.

Copenhagen Pride is Denmark’s largest annual LGBTQIA+ celebration, organising activities and events for and with the community to create visibility, understanding, and real change.

The flagship event, Copenhagen Pride Week, takes place every August and features over 100 debates, workshops, cultural shows, sports events, and concerts in the heart of Copenhagen. It culminates in the famous Pride Parade, one of the city’s most iconic events, regularly bringing more than 250,000 people onto the streets to celebrate love and equality.
