I would have titled the video something like "you're a round puni bird awaiting the arrival of the princess", but it's too long.

Lo-fi's no surprise, but expanding my covers to my favorite childhood franchise is one to me! Don't be too surprised if this particular cover vanishes without warning. I'm taking the risk here.

The most recent ending song of the franchise, at the time of this publishing, has some very strong lo-fi vibes in its first few seconds, and that led to its inception here. "Dear Shine Sky" is its name. I think it's a really unusual song for kids to dance to in the first half honestly, but it's been growing on me!

It has some AuditionSEA early 2000s K-Pop vibes going on here... x)

==THOUGHTS ON Pretty Cure==

If you're into hand-to-hand combat and some serious beatdown sequences between villain and magical girls, you may like Pretty Cure (or #precure as transliterated). I don't really recommend watching it like the typical 12-episode-per-season mainstream anime you see these days; this sort of thing is rather formulaic and kind of predictable storywise (most things get solved within an episode. Two at most.)

But pushing that aside, it's surprisingly enjoyable. Some occasional well animated fight sequences and character development along with valuable life lessons make it worth watching at times (but this is coming from someone who's been watching since 2004).

This year marks the franchise's 20th anniversary (actually only 19 full years have passed, there's a little inconsistency since the 10-year anniversary was in 2014, and the 15th in 2018...). I thought I should finally contribute something to commemorate the occasion.
