市貝町芝ざくら公園＆益子 森のレストラン／Shibazakura Park in Ichikai Town & Forest Restaurant in Mashiko Town

栃木県芳賀郡市貝町の芝ざくら公園は、本州有数の広さを誇る芝ざくら公園で、約18,000平方メートルの面積を有し、４色約28万株の芝ざくらが植栽されています。公園の展望台から見渡すと、この地域を源流とする小貝川の流れをイメージした、芝ざくらのパッチワークの光景が広がります。動画では、公園全体に絨毯のように咲き誇る芝ざくらの絶景をお楽しみください。
ランチに訪れた森のレストランは、益子町の静かな森の中に佇むログハウス調の一軒家カフェレストランです。ハンバーグ、パスタ、カレーなどの手作りにこだわった料理を、おしゃれな益子焼の食器で楽しむことが出来ます。小鳥のさえずりを聞きながら、春のやさしい光が差し込むテラスで食べたランチは最高でした。

Shibazakura Park in Ichikai Town, Haga District, Tochigi Prefecture, boasts one of the largest areas of shibazakura (moss phlox) in Honshu, covering about 18,000 square meters with approximately 280,000 plants in four colors. From the park's observation deck, you can enjoy a patchwork view of shibazakura that reflects the flow of the Kokai River, which originates in this area. In the video, please enjoy the breathtaking view of shibazakura blooming like a carpet across the entire park.
The forest restaurant we visited for lunch is a log cabin-style café located in a quiet forest in Mashiko Town. You can enjoy handmade dishes, such as hamburgers, pasta, and curry, served on stylish Mashiko pottery. Having lunch on the terrace, where gentle spring light comes through while listening to the chirping of small birds, was the best.
