I completely ignored this figure when it was released. I thought the proto pics were aweful and I wanted to wait for the DX13 like everyone else.
Then one day, i was poking through the forum, and I came upon some pics of this figure... Truly not what I thought at all... Then I found out about the real leather.
I remember I was 16 when this movie came out. I remember leaving the theater wanting my own "pet" terminator. I cannot think of a single other character that is a greater action star. This was by far his claim to fame, although I'd have to admit a Conan the Barbarian sitting in a throne next to this guy would just about match it.
I have NEVER bought 2 of the same figure. I did this time... it's that good. I totally understand that collectors are going to wait for the DX13 but if you have overlooked this piece not because you can't afford it, but for some other reason... forget about it and get it before it's sold out.
