Making profit, investing 600K in new CLAAS LEXION 8900 combine | The Old Stream Farm | FS 22 |

Welcome back to the The Old Stream Farm Timelapse. Initially, we deployed our tractor and CASE planter to commence corn planting. Meanwhile, we personally handled the transportation of goods originating from our plants. Our responsibilities encompassed delivering both raw materials essential for production and the finished products to various sales locations, thereby augmenting our overall revenue.
Subsequently, our attention shifted to the task of harvesting sunflowers. After careful consideration, we opted to acquire a state-of-the-art CLAAS LEXION 8900 combine. The transaction was facilitated through a trade-in arrangement, wherein the dealership repurchased our old combine while we covered the remaining cost for the new machine. In total, this investment amounted to approximately $600,000.
Without delay, the new harvester was immediately deployed for the sunflower harvest. We successfully completed the harvesting process in two small fields and one large field. Additionally, we also harvested a crop of barley.
