Part 8 – Highwing Hijinks, Spider Nightmares & A Search for Poor Tobbs 🐉🕸⚔

Welcome back, magical mischief-makers — Part 8 has arrived! And while this episode was a little lighter on drama, it was BIG on emotional rescue missions, spider trauma, and finally getting some sky-time. Let’s gooo! 🌤✨

I started the adventure with something truly legendary: saving Highwing — majestic queen, absolute icon, feathery Ferrari. 🐉💚
After a heroic rescue (and maybe one or two near-death moments), she’s officially free AND now lets me ride her! I swear nothing beats the moment you hop on for the first time and blast into the sky like a broomstick could never. Instant serotonin.

From soaring through the clouds to diving straight into darkness, I headed off to the caves in search of Deek’s friend, Tobbs.
The vibes?
✨ Zero stars.
✨ Would not spelunk again.
✨ 11/10 spider content, unfortunately.

The deeper I went, the creepier it got — eggs everywhere, webs, suspicious chittering… you know, the usual “absolutely not” energy. And then it happened:

THE SPIDER.
Capital S.
Monster.
Arachnid built like a minivan.
The kind of boss fight where your fight-or-flight has a breakdown and chooses both. 🕷🔥

After an exhausting battle (and possibly some screaming), I defeated the eight-legged nightmare — but sadly, Tobbs’ fate… was not the happy reunion I hoped for. 💔
Deek deserved better. Tobbs deserved better. We deserved better.

And that’s where Part 8 wraps up — not the longest chapter, but DEFINITELY one I won’t forget anytime soon. Between the sky-high freedom of riding Highwing and the emotional gut-punch in the caves, this episode hit every part of the adventure spectrum.
