Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has emphasized the need for political unity to resolve the long-standing Mahanadi water dispute.
Speaking at the birth anniversary event of former Chief Minister Harekrushna Mahatab at Sarala Bhavan in Cuttack, he stated that Odisha’s leaders must rise above ego and come together for a solution.
Pradhan added that blaming other states won’t help and highlighted that India can develop only when Odisha develops.
He also expressed his readiness to meet the Prime Minister to push for a resolution of the issue.
