Dowhill is home to the infamous Dowhill Victoria Boys' School, believed to be one of the most haunted places in India. Locals and visitors have reported hearing footsteps in empty corridors, sightings of a headless boy, and an overwhelming sense of being watched — especially in the nearby Death Road that runs through the forest.
