On my trip to Bolivia, I spontaneously decided to visit the city of Potosi. It is home to one of the most historically and currently essential mountains in the country - Cerro Rico. However, due to the lack of government regulation, the mines in Potosi are considered some of the most dangerous in the world, with miners having an average life expectancy of only 40 years. Despite the danger, it remains a lifeline for over 15000 thousand people. I decided to visit the second-highest city in the world and witness the incredible mountain.
