short answer yes i had no issues taking it through tsa.
told the tsa guy, i have a drone in there, he said thats fine.
drained battery to about 45%, put in a plastic bag. stored outside of drone in same carrying case
no issues, they didnt even ask to open the bag or anything.
dji mini 4k, had the controller, screwdriver, drone, battery (1) and everything else that comes with it
watt hour capacity - dji is 17.3-4 watt hours, has to be under 100 or 160, and i believe under 3 batteries for each carry on, can put 3 in ur moms or some one elses. but im not sure, and i think you can have as many under 100
