Remember, these are very challenging conditions for a smartphone. Film a carnival, and it'll be much better. But you also see the difference between a good/better video camera and a (much) less good one. If you see my video in the dark with the A56, it's a world of difference. What all smartphones do is, when you start zooming to 4 or 5 times, it suddenly starts getting very dark? I'm no expert, someone who knows why. Anyway, this was a difficult test, but I think it was quite successful. Normally, you wouldn't film in such conditions; you'd always film a concert, a festival, carnival, or fair, etc., where there's more light.
