2017 McLaren 570GT Review - Inside Lane

This is the 2017 McLaren 570GT and it is a slightly different proposition to what has come before it. Joining the Sports Series of supercars, the 570GT is based upon the potent 570S. Power comes from the same 3.8 litre twin turbocharged V8 engine producing 562bhp and 600Nm of torque. 0-60mph is completed in 3.3 seconds, top speed 204mph. A new rear profile allows for added practicality via a glass hatch offering 220 litres of space.

The interior is upholstered in fine leather and features sculpted surfaces. A touchscreen provides all of your infotainment and a pair of sporty seats are supportive. the McLaren 570GT ride is 15% softer at the front and 10% at the rear. This enables more comfort when covering longer distances. The car also lacks a sports exhaust, one can be optioned, to further reduce noise.

Taking care of shifts in the 2017 McLaren 570GT is a 7 speed automatic transmission of which is very responsive. It then sends power to the rear wheels.

The 2017 McLaren 570GT costs from £154,000 although there is currently an 8 month waiting list for this supercar.
