Learning to Trust Again | Sedona & Mogollon Rim Camping
After getting the Frontier dialed in during Episode 06, I finally hit the road again — and this time, I stayed put long enough to let the places do their work on me.
I set up camp in West Sedona with sweeping views of the red rock and spent several nights watching monsoon storms build in the distance. Every evening felt like witnessing a painting being created — clouds stacking, lightning flashing, and sunsets that turned the whole valley gold and pink.
From there, I climbed up to Rim Road 300 along the Mogollon Rim, the dramatic southern edge of the Colorado Plateau. At nearly 8,000 feet, the mornings were crisp, the air smelled of pine, and the south-facing view from camp made sunrise feel like a private show. I hiked to Bear Canyon Lake, sat by the water, and let myself be still.
This episode is about learning to trust again — the gear, the road, and the pace of this new life. Trust takes time, but up here, it feels worth it.
