Major Minors: The Academy follows BP Major and 10-year-old rising star Gia Pater on their tandem journey — from performer to mentor (BP), and from raw talent to polished artist (Gia). Gia is a diamond in the rough with a huge voice and an even bigger heart, and it’s BP’s mission to help her shine.
In this debut episode, Gia meets BP for the very first time — a moment that changes everything. As they begin working on “Fight Song”, Gia faces her nerves head-on while BP creates a safe, nurturing environment for her growth.
Along the way, Gia gets surprise visits and coaching from BP’s big-hearted celebrity friends, including Melissa Gisoni (Dance Moms), Dannii Minogue (The X Factor), Miss J. Alexander (America’s Next Top Model), Brian Justin Crum (America’s Got Talent) and more — all helping her build confidence, style, poise, and performance skills.
