Bombardier Dash 8-Q200 SATA Air Azores Full Power Take Off Corvo (Full Flight to Flores)

Nach der Ankunft aus Horta konnte ich als einziger Umsteiger gleich wieder in den Wartebereich gehen. Wobei der Flughafen von Corvo ungefähr so groß ist, wie das Erdgeschoss unseres Hauses. Mehr wie 70-80 m² waren das sicher nicht. Nach ca. 10 Minuten durfte ich wieder einsteigen. Auf diesem Flug waren wir ganze 4 Personen. Die Flugbegleiterin fragte mich, ob ich die Sicherheitseinweisung nochmal hören möchte oder ob es reicht, wenn Sie alles nur auf portugiesisch macht, da ich der einzige Ausländer auf dem Flug bin. Natürlich musste ich die Sicherheitseinweisung auf dem jetzt 4. Flug an dem Tag mit der Q200 nicht nochmal hören. :-) Der Start erfolgte mit maximaler Take Off Power. Sehr schön!!!! :-) Hab ich so auf den anderen Corvo Videos hier bei YT aus Passagiersicht noch nicht gesehen.
Die Flughöhe auf dem 10 Minuten Flug betrug 490 m (1.600 ft). Nach dem der Flug trotz des Windes an dem Tag recht ruhig war, wurde es dann doch recht unruhig, als die Maschine in die Luftverwierbelungen durch die Insel Flores gekommen ist. Der erste Landeversuch wurde daher auch frühzeiting abgebrochen. Aus der Entgegengesetzten Richtung war der Anflug etwas ruhiger und der zweite Versuch hat dann geklappt. Spätestens da war ich dann froh, dass meine Frau in Ponta Delgada geblieben ist. :-) Die steigt zwar überall ein, aber gefallen hätte ihr der Flug nicht.
Auf dem Rüchweg ist mir dann der mega Fehler unterlaufen, denn ich habe irgendwie vergessen den Startknopf an der GoPro zu drücken. Aufgefallen ist mir das dann aber erst nach der Landung auf Corvo. Allerdings war der Flug nicht so spektakulär, da der Flieger gleich nach dem Start aufs Meer rausgedreht ist, um aus den Luftverwierbelungen zu kommen. Daher war der Flug nicht so unruhig.

After arriving from Horta, I was the only one who could to go straight back to the waiting area. Corvo Airport is about the same size as the ground floor of our house. It was certainly not more than 70-80 m². After about 10 minutes I was allowed to get back on the plane. We were only 4 people on this flight. The flight attendant asked me if I would like to hear the safety anouncement again or if it is enough if she only does everything in Portuguese, since I am the only foreigner on the flight. Of course, I didn't have to hear the safety anouncement on the fourth flight that day with the Q200 again. :-) The take off was with maximum take off power.
Very nice!!!!! :-) I haven't seen anything like that in passenger view on the other Corvo videos here on YT.
The altitude on the 10 minute flight was 490 m (1,600 ft). After the flight was quite calm, despite the wind, it got quite bumpy when the plane got into the air turbulence cpreated by the island of Flores. The first attempt for landing was therefore rejected early. The approach from the opposite direction was a bit calmer and the second attempt worked. Latest at this time I was happy that my wife stayed in Ponta Delgada. :-) She gets on every plane, but she wouldn't have liked this flight.
On the way back I made the mega mistake because I somehow forgot to press the start button on the GoPro and I only noticed that after landing on Corvo. However, the flight was not that spectacular because the plane turned out to sea right after take off to get out of the air turbulence. So the flight was not so bumpy.
