As an interabled and intercultural couple we have gotten many questions about our lifestyle and personal life. We don’t like it when many of these questions become taboo because it can tend to stereotype people with disabilities. So we were super excited to answer the most common questions we get and some that have been asked by our subscribers! One of our biggest missions and passions with using this platform is to help teach and show others that living life to the fullest is TOTALLY possible for wheelchair users, for people with Spina Bifida, and other related disabilities with paraplegia.

We’re Kasey & Andrea. A Minnesotan and Salvadorian husband and wife living and loving life in Minnesota, USA. We live an adaptive lifestyle that allows us to be active, independent, and live life to the fullest.

We’ve been together a total of 8 years and going into our 4th year of marriage. Through all of these years together (and with Kasey’s 28 years of living with Spina Bifida) we have learned A LOT about adaptive equipment and products, and multiple ways on how to modify things around our homes and lives.

We have traveled to different parts of North and Latin America so far and planning to adventure a lot more in the near future.
We created this blog to share with others our personal experience with living an active and independent adapted life. We’ll be sharing adaptive product and equipment reviews of what we have used in the past; posts of some of the most fun places we’ve been able to visit during our travels. Last but not least, we’ll also share content regarding Kasey’s weight loss journey and adaptive fitness and exercise ideas.
