🔧 In this video, I’ll show you how to *control a servo motor remotely using two ESP8266 modules and RS485 communication* — perfect for long-distance (up to 1200m!) or noisy environments where UART/I²C/SPI would fail.
✅ One ESP8266 reads an analog voltage from a potentiometer (A0) and sends the scaled servo angle over RS485.
✅ The second ESP8266 receives the data and drives a servo motor in real time.
✅ No WiFi, no MQTT — pure hardware-based robust serial communication!
📌 Perfect for robotics, factory automation, home projects, or learning industrial protocols.
🔧 Parts Used:
2 × ESP8266 (NodeMCU/ESP-12E)
2 × MAX485 (or SN75176) RS485 Transceiver Module
1 × SG90 / MG90S Servo Motor
1 × 10kΩ Potentiometer
Jumper Wires, Breadboard, 5V Power Supply (for servo)
