We are delighted to share this exclusive interview with the team from the Blackbird film: a new British documentary following a young woman and her ongoing battle with Lyme disease.
The documentary details the story of Ruth, who was bitten by an infected tick when she was 22. She suffered from the symptoms of Lyme disease for months before she found any answers.
Almost a decade later, and Ruth has now had two hip operations and has been diagnosed with M.E and CFS as a result of her delayed diagnosis.
In this interview, we speak to protagonist, Ruth Wiegratz-Hope, and filmmaker, Zoe Paterson Macinnes, as we pose the following questions:
