Finishing a DIY Yamaha Service

This video concludes the DIY Yamaha 100-hour service series by showing how to grease the fittings and replace the fuel water separator filter.

I also discuss additional steps a marine mechanic might perform, which are beyond the scope of a DIY service. Be sure to use OEM-quality parts when performing a DIY service.

The service is not particularly difficult to do, and you can save hundreds of dollars.

This video series is specifically about a Yamaha F150 AETX, but all Yamaha outboards built since 2007, from 115HP to 300HP, are similar.
