With us at RFH Classics we have just had arrive this 1967 (F) Jaguar Mark II 2.4 Manual finished in gorgeous Metallic Red with matching Red Leather. Quite unusually this is just a 3 Owner from new car with the first owner having from 1967 until 2004 with the 2nd owner only having the car for one year. The third and last owner had the car from 2005 and during his ownership undertook an extensive restoration through his own body shop that saw the car change from its original Silver Grey to the beautiful Metallic Red it is today. Despite the car being an older restoration, it has stood the test of time and certainly still a very good looking car that drives exceptionally well.

This 1967 example of the Mark II is fitted with the all-syncromesh Manual gearbox and perfectly working Overdrive and was the 89th RHD car built. The car has been fitted with a Stainless Steel Exhaust and the Chrome Wire wheels which along with the other chrome work around the car, are in very good condition. The last owner regularly used the car to take his family on trips and clearly loved the car when you see it’s condition today. The interior of the car is lovely and is finished with Red Leather along with the Walnut Dash. One quite unusual feature of the interior in this car is that it is fitted with the now quite rare and desirable Reutter Reclining Front Seats. In the rear of the car you will find it has been fitted with two rear seat belts which will be a welcome addition as the car will make a great classic car that the whole family can then enjoy.

The Mark II was first introduced in 1959 and provided owners of the cars a large comfortable 5 seat saloon that went on to have a strong following in many walks of life and came with wonderful styling to the exterior, a race bred engine and benefit of disc brakes all round. It was also fitted with a new improved heater for the cabin and went on to become perhaps one of the most recognised models of the Jaguar range when it was featured in the ever popular Morse detective series.

Due to its age the car is exempt from needing an MOT test however prior to sale it will have been through our workshops and given a comprehensive vehicle inspection, service and independent MOT whilst also benefiting from a 3 Month Parts & Labour Warranty. Being over 40 years old the car will qualify for zero rated Historic Road Tax. We welcome customers to have an independent inspection carried out for additional peace of mind.
