Hello everyone, I have been having an issue with my 1979 15hp Johnson where the motor shuts down when the throttle is at idle. I have adjusted all the carb knobs, idle adjust knob, cleaned the carb, replaced fuel lines, and still have not figured out why the motor will not idle with the throttle in the lowest position. I start tearing into the motor to try and find a reason this is happening! I then take the boat out on to the water and adjust the carbs!
