पश्चिम बंगाल के मुर्शिदाबाद में बाबरी मस्जिद की आधारशिला रख दी गई. सऊदी अरब के साथ आए मौलवियों की मौजूदगी में मस्जिद का फीता काटा गया. टीएमसी के निलंबित विधायक हुमायूं कबीर के एक अपील पर लाखों मुस्लिम मुर्शिदाबाद के रेंजी नगर पहुंच गए. भीड़ अपने सिर पर ईंटे लेकर पहुंची. बड़ी संख्या में लोगों ने कैश भी दिए हैं. हमारे संवाददाता ओंकार वहां मौजूद थे, जहां आज बाबरी मस्जिद की नींव रखी है. ओंकार की रिपोर्ट देखिए-

The foundation stone of the Babri Masjid was laid in Murshidabad, West Bengal. The ribbon was cut in the presence of clerics from Saudi Arabia. Responding to an appeal by suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir, hundreds of thousands of Muslims gathered in Renji Nagar, Murshidabad. Crowds arrived carrying bricks on their heads. A large number of people also donated cash. Our correspondent Omkar was present at the site where the foundation stone of the Babri Masjid was laid. Watch Omkar's report:
